Remodels — Oklahoma City Metro
A remodel you can live with — before, during, and after.
Kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-home renovations across the OKC metro. Written scope, a protected house, and a crew that shows up when they say they will.
We respond to every quote request within one business day.
The straight story
The whole scope. One name on it.
Everyone knows a remodel horror story: the three-week bathroom that took three months, the bid that doubled once the walls were open, the crew that vanished mid-job. Most of those stories start the same way — a vague scope and a contractor who priced the best case instead of the real one.
BKG scopes remodels the opposite way. We look hard before we price: attic, crawl space, panel, plumbing runs — the places surprises hide. What we find goes in the scope. What we cannot see gets named as a risk with a plan attached, so an opened wall becomes a documented decision, not a hostage negotiation.
While we are in your house, we treat it like your house. Floor protection and dust barriers go up before demo starts. The site gets cleaned and secured before we leave each day. And you get one point of contact who actually answers the phone.
What’s covered
The build standard.
No mystery line items. This is the work, named the way it reads on site and in your contract.
-
Kitchens
Layout, cabinets, counters, lighting, and the plumbing and electrical moves that make a new kitchen actually work — not just photograph well.
-
Bathrooms
Full gut-and-rebuilds. Tile showers on proper waterproofing, ventilation done right, so it looks good in year ten, not just week one.
-
Whole-home renovations
Multi-room scopes sequenced so the house keeps functioning and the trades never stack on top of each other.
-
Structural changes
Load-bearing wall removals and new openings done with real beam sizing and proper temporary support — not guesswork.
-
Dust and home protection
Containment barriers, floor protection, and sealed HVAC returns in the work zone, so demo dust does not ride the ductwork through your house.
-
Written scope and selections
Line-item scope, documented selections, and change orders signed before the work happens — never after.
In writing
Every line of the quote, before you sign it.
A BKG quote is a scope you can read line by line — and hold us to after. This is what it covers.
- Pre-construction inspection of every area the remodel touches
- Written line-item scope and selection schedule before contract
- Demo with containment: dust barriers, floor protection, sealed returns
- Framing, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC changes done to code
- Insulation, drywall, tile, trim, cabinets, counters, and paint
- Job site cleaned and secured at the end of each work day
- Final walkthrough and punch list before we call it done

Good questions
Straight answers, up front.
The same answers we give across the kitchen table — no hedging, no fine print.
See every questionCan we live in the house during the remodel?
Usually, yes — it depends on the scope. A kitchen or a hall bath is livable with containment and a temporary setup. A whole-home gut usually is not worth the misery. We tell you honestly which one yours is, and if you stay, we plan the sequence around keeping a bathroom and a place to cook in service.
What happens when you open a wall and find a problem?
It becomes a documented change order, not a surprise invoice. You see what we found, what it means, and what it costs to address — before anyone touches it. You approve it in writing or we talk alternatives. Nothing proceeds on a verbal "just handle it."
Can you match our existing trim, flooring, and brick?
That is the difference between a remodel and a patch job. Trim profiles get matched or custom-run, hardwood gets feathered in and refinished so old and new read as one floor, and finishes get checked against samples from your actual house. Where an exact match is not possible, we tell you before it is installed — and show you the closest honest option.
How do you keep dust out of the rest of the house?
Containment walls, zippered barriers, floor protection, and sealed HVAC returns in the work zone, so dust does not circulate through the ductwork. Demo is the dirtiest day of the job. It is also the most planned one.
Is my project too small for you?
Ask. We would rather quote a one-room bath than watch it go to whoever answered first online. If a job is genuinely not a fit, we say so and point you in a useful direction — we do not string you along.
